I'm writing here from BintangDuit @ PGRM not cuz I byk duit to spend on sugar water.. but cuz my connection has been down for days! =/
Twin and I are here assignmenting before we go back to a connectionless world....

LL's bday

It was Li Ling's bday on Thurs, so we decided to have a suprise-ambush bday for her..


First up, some prep was to be done at home - baking! =)

And so about 4.30pm, the LL-bday-crew arrived in her house. Knowing that she'll be out, it was planned for An Christine to call her back early, and then we wud hide in her room as KL fetches her back. Then KL was to give me the secret call (i pretending to be her col fren...), to signal that they're reaching the house.

So before KL went to fetch her, we tried to improvise the Happy Birthday song..and KL even came up with a erm..Mexican riff (Rimbaaaaa~!!).. but somehow didn't use it in d end kaka.. As so as she left to fetch LL, we hid in d room....and waited for the signal.

And when there's 9 ppl stuffed together in a room..there would be noise overload. I mean really overload. There was the sound of guitar strumming..(Jon practicing d bday song), ppl laughing and talking - all obviously hyped to be ambushing someone..; but as soon as the signalling-call came and the sound of the front door opening was heard...the room fell into grave silence.

And then LL came to her room, and d quiet whole room erupted into noise once again! ;P

Virtual Worship

I've never heard/experience this before. Never thought it was possible, but surprisingly it is!

It is war!

McD US advertises its newest product by snubbing Starbucks' coffee prices.

Another billboard slogan jabs, "large is the new grande."

"The billboard placement was done because we picked high visibility locations," said Alan Finkelstein, who owns four McDonald's in King County. "We really wanted to point out that ordering an espresso at McDonald's is quick and simple. Small, medium and large. It's easy."

It has even launched a website aptly named http://www.unsnobbycoffee.com/, where it includes a "Snobby Coffee Intervention" flash, which begins with this foreword: "Click here to help a friend kick their snobbish habit". LOL xD


And it is reported that Starbucks is not going to retaliate. Hmm..


I just love how liberate American advertising is - super entertaining x)

An update!

Yup, finally an update!

Have not been keen on updating my blog lately, as it has become an obligation rather than something done out of inspiration or voluntarily.


So here I am, 3 weeks into my last semester of Year 2. Only having classes on Mon, Wed, and Fri, leaving gaps in between for me to sleep,laze and enjoy! =P Can't ask for a better timetable! =)


Nevertheless, the thought that I only have 3 semesters left after this kept me thinking about my future. Just weeks ago I've thought about doing another degree after this.. or something else.. but after attending MKT301 (Integrated Marketing Communications) class, i kinda have my interest in Marketing rejuvenated. Well, thank God i still have year to mull over this. Knowing me, I'll most likely gain and lose many interests by then ;)


BTW, for those music lovers out theree...


William Fitzsimmons is FANTASTIC!!!!


I've noticed him, since his tour with Brooke Fraser... but have not really been following his music.. I went back to his myspace to give another listen recently, and myyy.... he's really someone to watch!




Okay, he might not look like your typical serenader, but seriously..he has one of the sweetest and most soothing voices I have ever heard! =)
