The celebrations began a day earlier on Sat with Mia Famiglia! =) where we went to the our fav fav place..Chillis'!

Dad and Wy-Pun!
and some super sweet new dessert which we regretted ordering
(Molten Choc Cake is still d best!)
Then the supposedly joyous celebration turned painful when our dear friends overturned traditition by showering us with...TORTURE.
tissues were stuffed to make us more blind -_-'
and we were made to hike this zillion flight of steps, blindly!!
"over looking" the whole of KL

Victim #1 - Wei-Li

Victim #2 - Wei-I
I protected my guitar case more than my own flesh =P

Which reminds me that his day of aging is approaching very soon...maybe it's time for some retailiation *muahaHAHaha*!!
3) Bday "Surprise" #3
Now this surprise was not really a surprise, cause we had to know bout it so we cud go for it.. Same situation as last year =P
Anyway, it was still pretty much a surprise as we didn't exactly know where we were going, and what we're going to do there.. just knew it was surprise for Timmy and us. And there we go again, being blindfolded, this time in Jenn Ming's car with Eunice and Gideon as the accomplices. Funny thing was, when we had to order while being blindfolded, Eunice had to read through the entire list of food in the menu along with their prices! For example: Asian food, Chow Kuey Teow Rm8.80, Fried Rice Rm8.80.............Western food, Cordon Bleu Rm13.50 etc etc.. (Thx for d effort! =P) After she said everything, I was still at lost at what was offered...so i decided to take a peek at the menu....heheheh...
After being finally given sight, the "party began"..and only then all of us knew that it was a celebration for Oct babies! So it was not only 3 bdays but 8!! (including Justin who was absent) =)
And the theme to the party was ... Twins Night!!! =D

Eunice, I and Li decided to come as boy triplets with Lester's clothes! xP

The cowboys and the sweet ladies =)
While some came together being yellow, some were rock gothic chicks!
okayyy...they really do look scary here lol!
And along the party, there were awards given to the bday babies..for competitions we did not particpate in. Gideon won Most Teeth, Joel won No Ears, Wei-Li No Neck and others I can't remember.. this was my award plague..

as the person with the Longest Eyebrow who apparently giggles alot lol.

The Oct babies!!
(Joel, Joanna, Jun Hao, I, Timmy, Li, Gideon)
Along with the "awards", there was a song presentation by Jenn Ming, toasts and speeches, and message filled scrolls for the bday babies! and as u cud see in d above pic, crowns and tiaras too! Thanks to Jamie for taking time to organize this wonderful wonderful event, and thanks to all who came! You guys are a blessing!! =))
4) Last last celebration - today
Went for lunch with the B-Commers! And after a long long time spent mauling over the directional map, we decided on Just Thai for lunch!
our bday mango-sticky-rice! (who says there must be cakes? =P)

Susan, Lesley, Christine, Elaine, I, Can Can

After that, she taught us a mime which was simple yet creative. Hopefully we can do that for future performances =)
Today, the entire Braziliam CEIFA team came for Sunday Service! They performed a few dances and a mime.. which were really reallyy goood! =) Will post up those vids later..as it doesn't seem to load in my com =P

Cute Asaf playing with drum sticks.
Thiago shared on healing and restoration with Lukas translating.
His own testimony was how God healed him of his 20 over year stutter, was really amazing. Wanting to be a preacher when he was younger, he would buy vcd sermons and study them..he was so enthusiastic bout it that he practiced at home in front of the mirror. One day while in YWAM Brazil, one of d staff came to him and told him that she knows bout his stuttering prob, and how he aspires to be a preacher. Given the task of preaching that day, she told him not to be afraid, and go for it..as God has told her that He will heal him of his stutter.
And true enough, as he went to the pulpit to preach, he was there talking so smoothly that it shocked himself and ppl around him! Imagine a 20 over year stutter disappearing just like dat! Funny thing was, after he came down frm preaching, he was sttutering again.. However, whenever he preaches, he would just stop stuttering! he even joked about how he wished to carry the pulpit wherever he goes, so that he'll speak fluently =P Nevertheless, he was completely healed of the stutter after bout 2 years. This was proved when he spoke so energetically and fluent to us today =)

Wei-Li, me and the cute family! =)

Eunice and half of the team.. most of the team consist of married couples..how sweet!! =)
(closeup) Thiago, Luciana & Alex, Lukas & Ana (Adam Sandler & Scarlet Johansson lookalikes!)

Asaf the son, Poni the mum and Thiago the dad.. Happy lil family =)
These bunch of ppl really love to laugh and joke! I was surprised how lame they were! For instance, Thiago was claiming how well he could speak Chinese.. curious,we asked him to show us..
With our eyes and ears intently focused on him.. he cooly replied with 2 words :
"Chi-Neeeseeeee......."
and his countrymates burst into laughter.. -_-'
Thiago doing his eye-lid fluttering stunt
Before that, he was pretending to record us with a batteryless camcorder. Hence, the part where he said he'll record our "images" in his mind, and remember the exact time, second and date, lol! Joker betul xD
D Brazilians at lunch ~ lovely ppl they are =)
Though I've only seen this team for 3 days, I'm already missing their infectious joy!
It really encourages me how this bunch of ppl go around the world use their talents for the Lord. With every country they go to, they depend solely on God to provide for all their needs...be it lodging, food and even programmes. Language though a barrier for some of them, appears as no barrier after all, as their love and heart speak louder than any word put together. Their love for God and for people expressed through arts, really motivates me to be good in my music! I guess it's time to restart guitar lessons again! =P
Went to Mid Valley with Wei-Li to get the tix for Mamma Mia the musical..
Amanda Seyfried... I could only think of her as the dumb blonde in Mean Girls!! Really pulled it off here! Just in case u can't remember....
She was the keh-lei-fare of all keh-lei-fares, being one of the sidekicks of Rachel McAdams in the show =P
The show was okiee..story line was not that fantastic, but definitely a must-see for Abba lovers! I learned that Ms Seyfried could sing really really well! She has this kind of pure angelic voice...real nice when she sang the beginning and ending song.. ANd Pierce Brosnan....... my.... I think he should stick to voice conversations in the future.. =P
Overall, a not bad show.... but I'm definitely looking forward to the musical!! =)
Before I sign off... here's a bday shoutout to Timothy Wong Yoong Jin!!
*Happy Birthday didi!! You're like a brother I never had. Thanks for being such a blessing! Have a great 19th =)) <33>
