Be Still and Know...

I Will Be Ready

Verse 1:
I will not fear when the storm arrives
I'll persevere when I’m in plight
When enemies are against me
And others persecute me
I have victory, I have victory

Verse 2:
I will keep watch, I will keep wake
To welcome the King of Glory in
The oil in my lamp would not run dry
I wait on the Risen Crucified
I will be ready, I will be ready

Chorus:
For death has lost its victory
O My Saviour is coming for me
On the clouds of heavens He sounds
The call of Eternal Glory

Bridge:
Glory to the King of Kings
Glory to the Lord of Lords (x2)
He reigns, He reigns
Forever and ever and ever

Wei-I

Funny how after I wrote this song, the following week was pretty much emotionally stressing.. Many events happened, many intercessions.. and I was just overwhelmed by it all.

It was abit hard at 1st to sing what i wrote after all that happened.. but all the more I sang it to myself...to remind me that we indeed are victorious at times as such. In a strange way, I felt that God was speaking to me through my own song.

I was reminded that when the storm arrives, we have no reason to fear.. When things don't seem to go our way, we still have hope.. because He is in control... because He is God who reigns forever and ever (x100) ! =)

For you guys out there who are undergoing tough times, hang on and persevere on. Most importantly, be still and know that He is God.
God Bless <3
